Château Food & Meals
Gastronomy forms a large part of French culture and daily life, and here at Sauveterre we have embraced that ideal with open arms. Martine and Karine, our cuisinières, prepare delicious local dishes for the children and staff on a daily basis. We receive fresh bread from the local boulangerie every morning, and each Sunday a few of the students help Mr Bower, along with Freddie and Ben, to go and fetch the patisseries!
Children are also introduced to the daily goûters, which provide much needed fuel to get through a very busy daily schedule. Food also forms a large part of our many trips to local marchés, with crêpes ordered in French being a regular sight for the staff.
