RICHARD & AMANDA BOWER
Richard and Amanda have been at Sauveterre since January 2015, and live in the school with their children, Freddie, Ben and Heidi. Having grown up in France himself, Richard loves helping all who come to Sauveterre immerse themselves in French language and culture. He comes from a Maths background, having previously taught at The Hall School in London and Moulsford in Oxfordshire. Amanda’s role at the Château as Head of Boarding is to oversee all of the pastoral and medical care for the children, as well as Learning Support. The Bower family throughly enjoy their jobs and lives at Sauveterre, and of course, Martine's legendary cooking!
Assistant du Directeur. Eddie joined the Sauveterre staff from a career in photographic journalism. He is also a drum teacher and has relentless energy in all the sporting activities. M. Stacchini's team rarely lose in a 'Wide Game', and it has been rumoured he can often last the whole term without being beaten at babyfoot...
Deputy Head of Boarding. Having grown up in Queensland, Australia, Casey joins the Sauveterre team in 2017 having worked as an English Teacher, rugby coach and houseparent in Australia. Along with Megan, he is thoroughly looking forward to immersing himself into French language and culture and with a rugby background will soon feel at home in the sport's spiritual home.
